Is parking available directly at the Wohnfakturei?
Yes, parking is available directly in front of the house. You’re welcome to book a space for a small extra charge.
Is it possible to have breakfast at the Wohnfakturei?
Of course, you can also have breakfast with us. Our buffet is set up daily in the restaurant “Zum Schnürschuh.”
You can add this service to your room booking.
Is Wi-Fi available at the Wohnfakturei?
Yes, the Wi-Fi is provided by our big brother, the Alpenhof, and can be used free of charge.
How can I reach the city from the Wohnfakturei?
We recommend leaving your car here and taking the tram – or “Straßenbahn”, as we call it.
The stop “Alpenhof” is just a few meters from the hotel. From there, take line 4 towards the city center and ride to Königsplatz. It works just as easily the other way around on your return.
Is there a Fitness room at the Wohnfakturei?
There is no fitness room in the Gästekiste itself. However, our larger neighbor – the Alpenhof – has a fitness room that Gästekiste guests are welcome to use free of charge at any time.
If I have a room at the Wohnfakturei, can I also use the swimming pool?
Yes, you can use the swimming pool for a small additional fee. Please note: the pool is not included in the standard room rate. You’ll find all further information on the homepage under “Optional Services”.
Can I enjoy a coffee in the Alpenhof lobby as a guest of the Wohnfakturei?
Of course you can – and we’d love for you to! Feel free to enjoy a drink by the “Feuerstelle” – that’s what we call the lobby at the Alpenhof. During reception hours, our team will be happy to bring you whatever you’d like.
Where do I check in if I'm staying at the Wohnfakturei?
Please check in at the reception of the Ringhotel Alpenhof. The entrance is across the parking lot, through the sliding door into the tall building. Once inside, turn left – you’ll find the reception there. It handles check-ins for the Alpenhof, the Gästekiste, and the Wohnfaktorei.
Reception hours:
Monday to Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
