How can I reach the city from the Wohnfakturei?
We would recommend leaving your car with us and taking the tram — or “Straßenbahn,” as we call it here. Just a few meters from the hotel, you can catch tram line 4 at the “Alpenhof” stop, heading toward the city center, and ride it to Königsplatz. Yes, you can use the swimming pool for a small additional fee. Please note: the pool is not included in the standard room rate. You’ll find all further information on the homepage under “Optional Services”.
Can I enjoy a coffee in the Alpenhof lobby as a guest of the Wohnfakturei?
Of course you can — we’d be delighted to have you! Feel free to enjoy a drink at the “Feuerstelle” — the name of the lobby area at Alpenhof the Patchworkhotel. During reception hours, our colleagues will gladly bring you anything you may need.
Where do I check in if I'm staying at the Wohnfakturei?
Please check in at the reception of Alpenhof the Patchworkhotel. The entrance is across the parking area, through the automatic sliding doors into the tall building. Once inside, turn left and you will find the reception desk, which is responsible for Alpenhof, Gästekiste, and Wohnfakturei. Reception hours are: Monday to Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Are pets allowed in the Wohnfakturei?
No, pets are not allowed in the Wohnfakturei — including dogs.
Are discounted public transport tickets available at the hotel?
Yes of course. At the reception desk in Alpenhof, you can purchase so-called hotel tickets. These allow you to travel at a reduced rate on Augsburg public transport for 2 days.
